There’s something so special about Sunday mornings.. truly a relished part of every week.. whether it's a chance to recuperate from your busy life (or from the night before).. to sleep in.. to embrace a loved one.. or simply to capture the last fleeting moments of your weekend..
Last Sunday, we spent our morning at sea..
As I cruise through the harbor, I feel at peace.. the sway of the sea brings tranquility. Somehow, I am surrounded by stillness, amidst every rhythmic rock. I soak in all the sights (and a little too much sun) The sailboats are so full of hope.. reminding me that no dream is unreachable.. no journey too far.. and the commanding scene of the emerald city.. a place so close to my heart.. so familiar yet so new from a different view. Sparkling in the sun, the city winks at me.. as if to express a shared affection.
I am overwhelmed with happiness.. feeling lucky to share this time with my family and to watch my son discover all of this wonder. Isn't it lovely how you can observe something - otherwise common or habitual - in a brand new way.. whether it be through a different perspective, through a camera's lens, or through the eyes of a one year old.. almost, as if it was for the first time..
